Renowned Director/Actor Smeep Kang ,who is known for making comedy films, now plan to explore the genre of thriller films.
Smeep Kang have made films like Carry on Jatta, Lucky Di Unlucky Story, Bhaji in Problem among others in this genre, which have turned out to be hits.Now He decided experiment with different film genre.
The movie will be starring Rockstar Gippy Grewal, Smeep Kang, Geeta Basra, Gurpreet ghuggi,Karamjit Anmol.The movie will be shot in mohali,chandigarh and other different locations.Lock is expected to release in mid 2015.The movie will be produced under the banner of Sippy Grewal Productions and Ek Rehmat Productions.

It has been my long pending personal drive to do something different in punjabi cinema and you feel so grateful to everybody who makes that happen.But no one more than Gippy Grewal Bhaji should be thanked to make this dream come true.He has been busy but when he got to know we are making Lock,he agreed to do a Guest Appearance in it and since then been a part of it with all his signature enthusiasm.Thank you Bhaji for everything --- Smeep Kang
