Hottie hikes her acting fee
The success of Dabangg has worked miracles for this starlet. Now we hear Sonakshi Sinha has raised her acting fee to Rs 1 crore.
With the hike, Sonakshi has joined the league of highest-paid actresses like Aishwarya Rai, Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor.
The actress has apparently taken an advance payment of Rs 91 lakh for one of her upcoming projects. Industrywallahs are finding it hard to digest this fact, as Sonakshi is just one-movie old. A trade analyst is quoted as saying by a daily, “Since Sonakshi has kept herself exclusive only to big hero projects, the girl’s market price is being negotiated very carefully.”
Yes, Sonakshi’s next film is with Salman Khan, to be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, and another is Joker, which will be made on a whopping sum because it’s going to be in 3D. Sonakshi will work with Akshay Kumar in the film.
It’s said that no other newbie hiked her fee so astronomically as Sonakshi has, even considering the likes of Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor, or Kangana Ranaut.
