Cocaine Smuggler Balbir Dhami found guilty

Sacramento California: A federal grand jury has decided the faith of Sacramento cocaine smuggler Balbir Dhami. Jury found Balbir Dhami guilty on all charges. Dhami was arrested by the FBI smuggling cocaine in 2007. Balbir Dhami's sentencing date is set for August. Dhami moved cocaine across US to Canada. Dhami conspired to move almost a million dollars worth of cocaine.
Balbir Dhami and his family were known in the Sikh community to live a lavish life style big homes, expansive cars trowing big parties and owned Dhami Truck Plaza.
Balbir Dhami is the father of fugitive Amandeep Dhami wanted by the FBI for murder. Amandeep killed Parmjit Singh and wounded another at Sacramento Sikh Society Gurdwara on August 31 2008

It is alleged that it was former cocaine-smuggler-turned-state-snitch Balbir Dhami of Elk Grove California who tipped agents about the drug deal.
FRESNO—The last of four defendants has been sentenced for trying to ship cocaine from central California to Canada.
U.S. District Judge Oliver Wanger on Monday sentenced 51-year-old Sokha Bhopal of Valencia, Calif to more than seven years in prison on charges of conspiring to distribute cocaine and possessing cocaine with intent to distribute.
Bhopal pleaded guilty last year to negotiating the purchase of 85 kilograms of cocaine in 2008 to ship to Canada.
It is alleged that it was former cocaine-smuggler-turned-state-snitch Balbir Dhami of Elk Grove California who tipped agents about the drug deal. Agents raided the hotel and caught Bhopal along with two Canadians and another American in one of the biggest drug deals involving NRIs .
It is also alleged that ever since Balbir Dhami was busted smuggling cocaine in 2007 he has been helping agents capture Punjabi’s in Canada and the US.
Authorities caught the four men when they brought two suitcases with more than $1.25 million to a Bakersfield hotel.
Co-defendants 34-year-old Thai Hoang Nguyen was sentenced to eight years in prison and 42-year-old Davinder Singh and 36-year-old Vath Lim were each sentenced to five years in prison
