In November 2013, The Sikh Youth Federation (Canada) will be partnering up with NSYF (UK) to bring the "A Candle in the Dark Exhibition" to Canada. The exhibition showcases how, in the context of Sikh history, Guru Nanak's mission to build a truly utopian society has encountered violent opposition.
We will take you on a journey from the beginnings of the Sikh Way right up to the shocking events of our recent history - the Delhi Genocide of November 1984.

Promo based on the true story of Bibi Nirpreet Kaur - whose father survived the first attempt to set him alight by making it to a nearby body of water. When the mobs were informed that he had survived they came back to tie him to a poll and set him alight again
