Samsung Galaxy K zoom camera smartphone officially announced



Samsung has today announced its rumored Galaxy K Zoom smartphone during an event in Singapore. This camera-centric smartphone comes with a 20.2-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, 4.4-44mm lens with 10x optical zoom, Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and Xenon Flash. It also includes a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED screen, running the latest Android 4.4 KitKat Operating System.

On the matter of performance, Samsung Galaxy K Zoom is packed with 1.7 GHz Dual Core + 1.3 GHz Quad Core Exynos (5260) processor with 2GB RAM and 8GB Internal Storage. And in the matter of connectivity it has got 4G LTE/3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Bluetooth v4.0 LE, aGPS + GLONASS and NFC and 2,430 mAh battery inside.

Samsung Galaxy K Zoom features new retracting lens technology, which provides 10x optical zoom in a 20.2 mm slim body. It also includes features like AF/AE Separation (Auto Focus/ Auto Exposure Separation), Pro Suggest with 5 optimized filter settings, Selfie Alarm to take timed selfies, object tracing and more.

The Galaxy K Zoom will be available in Black and White color options and the company is yet to announce pricing and availability details regarding this smartphone.
