Nokia, Vodafone India join hands to improve Nokia Music

Nokia today announced a partnership with Vodafone India to offer an integrated billing solution on the Nokia Music Store. Vodafone India customers using the music service on their Nokia feature phones and Asha smartphones can now renew their subscriptions via their Vodafone accounts and continue to download songs and albums from the Nokia Music Store.

Renewal subscriptions for the Nokia Music Store are available for three durations -- 7 days for Rs 50, 30 days for Rs 99, and 90 days for Rs 250. Taxes and data charges as applicable will be levied separately. With this integration, Vodafone India customers can pay for the renewal as part of their monthly phone bills or have the amount debited from their pre-paid balance.


Collaborates with Vodafone India for Nokia Music



As per an official statement, the Nokia Music Store has become the first independent music store in the country to offer integrated operator billing, along with billing via credit cards and vouchers. This marks a big step forward towards broadening monetisation and strengthening the music ecosystem in India.

The steps to renew your Nokia Music subscription are:
Launch the Nokia music client on your compatible Nokia feature phone/ Nokia Asha smartphone and sign in with your Nokia account or create a new one.
Scroll down and click on the 'Buy' option at the bottom of the home page.
Select from the three options, and choose to pay via your Vodafone account (pre-paid or post-paid): 7 days for Rs 50; 30 days for Rs 99; 90 days for Rs 250.
On completion of purchase, your Nokia Music subscription will be renewed and an email receipt sent to your registered email address. You can then continue to download all the music you want during your subscription period. Customers can access the Nokia Music Store and search for and download an unlimited number of songs of their choice during their subscription period, via a growing number of Nokia phones including almost all Asha and Lumia devices.
