Clearwire Clear 4G Modem With Wi-Fi – Safe & Secure









Pc peripherals manufacturer Clearwire has released their Wifi modem which indeed features 4G connectivity.
It offers wireless download speeds upto 6Mbps linked to their Wi-Fi-connected devices to Clear’s 4G network.
The modem features a WiMAX chipset – Beceem BCS5250 with supported speed of 2500 MHz.
The modem has an inbuilt omni-directional antenna provides 5dB average gain.

Clear 4G is compatible with Windows XP SP2, Windows Vista 32/64, Windows seven 32/64 and Mac OS 8 or newer and shares Local connections over 802.11n Wi-Fi.

Clear 4G is available in LA, Miami, Washington, DC, Cleveland, Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio, along with other 68 cities in US priced at $120 or leased for $7 per month.

LED’s:

  1. The top 5 LED’s represent network signal strength with 5 lights on being strongest and 1 light being weakest signal.
  2. The Network indicator LED shows connection to the Clear 4G network via Ethernet cable with a solid green light representing connection and orange if there’s an error.
  3. The wi-fi indicator LED shows whether a device is connected to the modem via wi-fi.
  4. The Power LED indicates whether the modem is turned on.
