Cricket Communications began selling its newly mobile phone, the Cricket TXTM8 3G, which is really a rebranded TXTM8 II.
It support high-speed tri-band EVDO capabilities and is designed for CDMA EV-DO Rev. 0 network.
The new handset is packs a landscape oriented TFT LCD display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels (QVGA), a full QWERTY keyboard, 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, microSD card slot (up to 16 GB), media player, 3.5mm audio connector and MicroUSB port. 1,150 mAh battery provides up to 5 hours in talk time, 330 hours of standby mode.
Cricket TXTM8 3G multimedia handset is available at $100.
