It is not my project...I am just sharing it 
I picked up a wire mesh wastebasket at Dollar Tree a while back with the intention of weaving fabric through it to make a pretty yarn basket to sit next to the chair in my craft room. I figured this would be the perfect project for a piece of fabric I found at Goodwill a while back. I liked the colors, and I really liked the price, but the print gives it a look that I lovingly call “circa 1992 sofa.”
I cut the fabric into strips and wove them in and out thorough the holes in the mesh.
It gave a plain wastebasket a totally new look, and managed to de-uglify the fabric in the meantime.
