Oatmeal Dosa (Pancakes)

Ingredients:
2 cups - old fashioned quaker oatmeal
1 cup - urad dhal
1/2 cup - chana dhal
1/2 cup - moong dhal
1/2 tsp - methi
1 tsp - ginger paste
4 to 6 - green chillies
Method
2 cups - old fashioned quaker oatmeal

Method
- Soak all the ingredients for 4-5 hrs and grind into a smooth paste.
- Let it ferment overnight.
- To make dosas, stir the fermented batter well.
- Heat a thick, flat griddle, preferably non-stick, till a few drops of water, sprinkled on it sizzle and evaporate quickly.
- Reduce the fame, pour about 1 cup of batter on it and spread quickly with the back of a laddle in concentric circles to a thin pancake.
- Increase the flame to medium and cook till the under side is golden brown.
- Serve hot with chutney or sambar.
- You can make thin dosas by adding a little water to the batter.
- You can omit ginger and green chillies if you want plain dosas
