Massive fire in a godown in Mumbai's Kandivali; 50-60 cylinders exploded, 200 shanties gut

A major fire has broken out in a godown in Kandivali East in Mumbai.

It is unknown how the fire initially erupted but it spread into a cluster of shanties nearby causing explosions of gas cylinders. Reports say after one by one around 50-60 cylinders exploded.

200 slums have been gutted due to the raging fire.

16 fire engines have been rushed to the spot

An investigation has been launched into the incident.​
