Lava E-Tab Xtron+ tablet launched for Rs 6,990

Lava International has made an addition to the tablet market with the launch of Lava E-Tab Xtron+. This tablet is considered as the successor of Lava Xtron, which was launched in Feburary this year.

As announced earlier, the tablet comes with a 7-inch IPS display and is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. It is backed by a 1GB RAM and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS.

The tablet has an internal memory of 8GB, which can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card. The tablet also features a 2MP rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. It can be connected to a TV or a monitor using its HDMI port.

Keeping the system alive is a 3700 mAh battery, which is expected to last for at least 3 hours. The E-Tab Xtron+ has no 3G connectivity and the only way to connect the device to the Internet is by using its Wi-Fi connectivity. The new tablet is aimed at people with a low budget as it is priced Rs 6,499.

Early during the year, Lava had launched the Xtron tablet, which runs on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean OS and is powered by a 1.5GHz Cortex A9 dual-core processor. It has a 7-inch IPS display with a 1024 x 600 resolution. The tablet is powered by 1GB RAM. It has a 2MP front-facing camera for video calling or taking pictures.

The tablet comes with 8GB of internal memory, which is expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card. It also has Wi-Fi connectivity and is backed by a 3500 mAh battery.​
