Booking your flight journey is set to become an easier task. Keeping in mind the increasing number of smartphone users in the country, Jet Airways, in association with Nokia, has come up with a mobile app for passengers.
The airline said in a press release that the Jet Airways mobile app has been designed in a highly innovative and interactive manner to cater to the needs of travellers. The app features time-to-time flight update, notifications and also has the ability to pin the booked ticket onto the home screen for easy access. The app will also allow the user to get updates on news and special offers; users could also share their travel experience through the app.

Sudheer Raghavan, Chief Commercial Officer, Jet Airways, said, “The recent years have witnessed a noteworthy increase in the acceptance and usage of smartphones which has led to a significant surge in the use of mobile devices to access the internet. The rapid adoption of app utilization by travelers using smartphones is accelerating the growth of travel bookings among mobile devices. The Jet Airways app has been created with a clear focus on enhancing the guest’s overall travel experience through the use of evolving technology.”
On the other hand, Gerard Rego, Director Developer Experience, Nokia India, said, “This will be India’s first native app for an airline on any mobile platform which will help travelers to access information and book tickets seamlessly.”
