Google Project Tango Tablets coming soon with 3D imaging capabilities
Recent reports by the Wall Street Journal suggest that Google is planning to release 4000 prototype tablets next month. As similar to the Project Tango smartphones, these tablets will also come with capabilities to use cameras and sensors to map the world around them. According to the reports, Google Project Tango Tablets will come with a 7-inch of screen, two back cameras, infrared depth sensors and βadvanced software that can capture precise three-dimensional images of objects.β
Google already demonstrated a prototype smartphone in February, which was packed with a 4MP camera, a lower resolution image tracing camera and infrared sensor. The search giant also shared 200 of its prototype devices to different companies and creators allowing them to create new apps for the device.
