Ganpati’s got the best ear for music!

Sharin Wader Butani, TNN 6 September 2009,

What better place to have the music launch of a film then at the feet of Lord Ganesh and that too, during the auspicious Ganesh Chaturthi week. Fardeen Khan, Bipasha Basu, Mugdha Godse, Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt

Actor-producer Ajay Devgn along with the entire cast — Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Bipasha Basu and Mugdha Godse — of his upcoming film All The Best – Fun Begins, did just that. Early on Friday morning, they drove down to Siddhivinayak Temple in Prabhadevi to seek Ganpati’s blessings and launch their film’s music even as the pujaris recited mantras and performed the aarti to appease Ganesha.

Since all the stars share an interesting camaraderie, it wasn’t much of a trouble for Ajay to get them to come into town. The actor picked up Fardeen from his Juhu residence and went straight to Sanjay’s place in Bandra where Bipasha and Mugdha were already waiting. They then drove to the temple. There have been instances of producers and actors making the rounds of temples to seek blessings during the release of their films, but a music launch is definitely a first. Pritam has created some rocking numbers for this comic caper including five songs and two remixes.

Produced by Ajay Devgn Films and directed by Rohit Shetty, All The Best – Fun Begins is a rib-tickling comedy resulting from mistaken identities and hilarious goof-ups. And for this film, Ajay’s leaving no stone unturned. It’s due to release on October 16 and thus this Diwali, the Gods will be smiling down on him.

Radio Mirchi, too, joined Ajay and Bipasha in celebrating the music launch of the film. The stars launched it first on Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM. Tune in today to catch the hottest tracks from the film.
