Another story 
Sarita woke up a bit late that day and it impacted all her activities. Being a lone person, she had only herself to take care of, but that too took time. She had to cook, bath, eat and pack her lunch and should catch the 08.20 train. That day, when she finished all in a hurry, picked a churidhar and rushed to catch the train, she saw only the tail of it leaving. Cursing herself, she did not have the mood to wait for the next train [scheduled at 08.50] or go to work. She called her colleague and said that she was taking a day off and slowly walked back to the house where she was the paying guest. She crossed a middle aged and frail woman on her way and wouldn't have paid much attention, had she not called her aloud. "Hello Young girl! Here!", the old one shouted. Sarita turned and was surprised at first.
The old lady came closer and introduced herself as Rukmani. You may not explain why you feel so close to someone even though you visit them for the first time. Isn't it? Sarita felt the same. Rukmani was so soft and told her that she was very happy to see her. She then enquired about Sarita's details and then placed a request. "Dear! Today is auspicious, being the first day of Navarathri. Can you please accept something from me?". Sarita was moved and nodded, stating that she was never offered like that by anyone before.
Rukmani then asked her to accompany to the boutique nearby, which always opened early. She then asked Sarita to choose a dress that she liked. Sarita hesitated and picked a less costlier salwar kameez. "You like it? Really? Why don't you try it now?", Rukmani urged. Sarita came back wearing that dress. Satisfied, Rukmani paid for it and asked her to leave with that dress. Sarita nodded and was a bit disappointed, to see that Rukmani was leaving. "I'll come to your house next time!", she promised while leaving.Sarita left home, carrying the older dress in a new cover.
Once she reached, she just took the older one, only to notice a big tear in the back.
