There is no bigger confidence-booster than great hair. It isn't called the crowning glory for nothing.
Yet, almost everyone has more bad hair days than good ones these days. Thanks to the rampant abuse our hair goes through due to our lifestyle, stress levels and all the procedures we put our hair through. Give your hair a break from treatments that are supposed to heal your hair and try these fruit packs. They are inexpensive, you only have to leave them on for 30 to 45 minutes and they have absolutely no scary side effects.

Chemical X

For: Hair that is damaged from chemical treatments
You'll need: Two bananas, one egg yolk and one teaspoon fresh lemon juice.
And voila: You get healthy, happy hair.

Straw dry
For: Hair that is coloured and dry as straw
You'll need: One banana, two cups papaya pulp, two tablespoons neem leaf powder, one cup lukewarm water, one cup beer.
And voila: You have shiny, lustrous hair.

Grease tease
For:
Greasy scalp
You'll need: One cup orange juice, one cup yoghurt, one tablespoon tulsi powder or amla powder.
And voila: You have a scalp that is de-clogged

Nightmarish fall
For:
Hair fall
You'll need: One avocado, one tablespoon fenugreek (methi) powder, one tablespoon green tea, half cup lukewarm water.
And voila: You have strong, tenacious hair. You will also notice an improvement in the quality of your hair; from root to tip.

No itchy-scratchy
For:
Dandruff-prone scratchy scalp.
You'll need: Two tablespoons gooseberry juice, one teaspoon lime juice, one cup yoghurt.
And voila: You have a calmer scalp thanks to yoghurt while amla and lemon help reduce dandruff.

Happy hair
For:
Hair that is so dull it lacks life.
You'll need: One cup coconut milk, half cup sweet lime, three tablespoons hibiscus powder, half a pint beer.
And voila: You have a lustrous mane that's got a new lease of life.
