but any idea abt the 10" ones??
bai ji company doesnot matter, bcoz all are made in china and taiwan.
the main thing you need to look is for value for money (jehra ghat ton ghat paiseyan ch vadh ton vadh features deve) second is after sales support.
i have hp and dell both 14 inches, user acer 14inches also , all are good

yeh, thts rite...almost all have got the same specs and features, but still the processing varies...so wanted to clarify on that...also, Asus has come out with one providing 9.5hrs battery life
....baaki main research te kitti ae and shortlisted 3:Asus Eeepc 100HE
HP Mini 2140
Acer Aspire D150
on comparing all these 3 , i would say nothing is different in all 3,
Asus is saying that battery supports for 9.5 hours* (conditions)
but if you see in detail all have 6 cell battery.
if you see anyother difference except this let me know
the only diff i found is hp and asus support 802.11n (latest version of wireless) which is not in use even at 1% locations (keep in mind wherever n is used b/g version will also be there)
i would say which ever looks good and gives value for money go for that

depends on quality,service that company is giving in ur city/country . A same laptop will work great in UK & US than that of quality in India .
