NEW DELHI: Barely a year after her wedding, a 24-year-old woman apparently committed suicide at her in-laws' house in Aman Vihar on Tuesday night. Her father has alleged dowry harassment.A case in this regard has been registered and an SDM probe initiated.
The victim, Rekha, was reportedly four months pregnant and was found hanging with a saree from the ceiling fan of her room. Her husband Sunil Kumar works in a private firm at Aman Vihar.
Businessman killed: A 55-year-old shop owner was stabbed to death by four persons at Jehangirpuri on Wednesday. Mewa Ram ran moulding business at Jehangirpuri. The assailants came on a bike, said police.
