Dadasaheb Phalke award winner and veteran Punjabi actor Mehar Mittal passed away in Mount Abu on Saturday.
Born in Bathinda on October 24, 1935, he was one of the finest comedians of his time and Mittal had worked in more than 100 movies and ruled Punjabi cinema for three decades. He was one of the actors who set a benchmark through his comic roles.
Mittal had been keeping unwell for quite some time.
