Post Upbeat AAP claims Delhi-like win in 2017, plans more rallies

If the number of people participating in Aam Aadami Party’s rally here today is any indication of the mood of the electorate, it does not augur well for the SAD-BJP as well as the Congress.
More than 3,000 people from the area gathered at the rally venue. The party will organise another rally in the district on September 18 at Morinda. Addressing the gathering, Bhagwant Mann claimed AAP would repeat its Delhi victory in Punjab in 2017. The leaders of the SAD-BJP alliance have weakened the state in every aspect.
Party forms intellectual cell
AAP has constituted an intellectual cell to analyse political, social and other challenges facing the state.
RR Bhardawaj is president of the cell. Among 13 zonal heads are: Hoshiarpur – Harbans Singh, Jalandhar – SN Bhatti, Mohali – AK Rana, Patiala – Bhim Inder Singh, Amritsar – Indervir Nijjar, Ludhiana – Jatinder Moudgill, Gurdaspur – Harbans Singh, Faridkot – Babu Brar, Sangrur – Bhola Singh, Bathinda – Makhan Singh and Ferozepur – Pritam Singh.
