At least one girl was killed and 100to 200 passengers injured when the Delhi bound 2462-Jodhpur-Jaipur-Delhi Mandor Express derailed near Banskoo in Dausa district during the wee hours of the day.
Eleven to 12 coaches of the train derailed near Banskoo level crossing between Jatwara and Jharr stations about 45 Kms from here around 0115 hrs, Railway and police sources said.
Ambulances and relief teams were rushed to the accident site soon after the report of the mishap.
Relief train with rescue and medical teams have also reached the spot. Injured have been brought to the SMS Hospital here and some other hospitals.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot was himself supervising the relief measures.
Mr Gehlot has directed the officials to take all care for the treatment of the injured and has asked the state roadways authorities to immediately send buses to the accident site inorder to bring the stranded passengers to Jaipur.
