PATIALA: : The wife of late Akali and SGPC chief Gurcharan Singh Tohra –Joginder Kaur Bibi Joginder Kaur Tohra
expired here Wednesdy after the brief illness. She breathed last at the residence of her daughter and son in law Kuldeep Kaur and Harmel Singh at 1.15 pm.
She was 82 years old. She has many health problems due to old age. The cremation will be at village Tohra in this district at 11.00 am on January 27.
Punjab government has accorded status of the Cabinet Minister to Sardarni Joginder Kaur Tohra wife of Late Panth Rattan Gurcharan Singh Tohra, former President of S.G.P.C. and Ex. M.P. last year in August.
