SIRSA: Tracking the email received by Haryana DGP regarding threats to eliminate Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh to an internet cafe in Sirsa, a police team from Panchkula arrived here on Sunday to investigate the matter.
"The group led by ASI Gurdial Singh and comprising IT experts raided Cyber World on Janata Bhawan road. Apart from checking records, cops quizzed the cafe owner," said sources.
With Rahim Singh's security being a big concern for the state government, the recent Mumbai incident has added to the existing threat to his life. The police stepped up security at the Sirsa-based Dera and erected barricades along the road leading up to the headquarters.
