An 18-year-old girl was allegedly abducted, raped and set on fire by four youths in UP’s Fatehpur district on Sunday. The girl has suffered 95% burns and is in a comatose state..

Kanpur: An 18-year-old girl, who was allegedly abducted, raped and set on fire by four youths in Fatehpur district Sunday morning, is battling for life with 95% burns here.
A senior surgeon at the Lala Lajpat Rai (LLR) Hospital, where she is admitted, told media on Monday that the victim was in coma, showing no signs of improvement.
“Late on Saturday evening, the girl had gone to purchase ‘samosas’ from a shop, when she was allegedly abducted, raped and later set on fire by four youths identified as Nadeem, Rakesh, Naeem and Majid,” the police said.
The incident came to light when Nadeem’s neighbour raised an alarm after hearing loud cries and seeing smoke and flames coming out of Nadeem’s house. The girl was rushed to a local hospital.
