Tamasha movie becomes the third highest opener of overseas 2015

Tamasha starring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone seems to be enjoying a phenomenal run at the box office! While we just reported to you the domestic figures which sums up to around Rs 24.04 crore in 2 days. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh further reports Tamasha is faring equally well across overseas. The figures are in and you yourselves will be surprised looking at its steady growth. With this, Tamasha turns out to become the third highest opening for 2015 in the overseas market after Salman Khan’s double blockbusters, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo! Although it’s definitely not easy to break Salman’s box office record but we are glad that finally Ranbir has got lucky with his film! Having delivered so many flops in the form of Besharam, Roy and Bombay Velvet, Ranbir really needed a success story to his merit! Breaking up Tamasha’s overseas figures:

North America box office is reported at $1.13 Million with some screens yet to report! This is the third highest opening for the year in North America!!

Estimated box office for Gulf is at USD 731 K making it the third highest weekend for 2015 with Sunday collections yet to go. This is the highest Opening for Ranbir Kapoor in the region!

The UK box office saw an impressive growth of over 47% and is reported at USD 285 K / GBP 178 K making it the 2nd highest opening for Ranbir Kapoor film in the region and the 3rd highest opening for 2015 !

Estimated box office for Pakistan is at USD 295 K making it the highest opening for Ranbir Kapoor in Pakistan!
