The Taliban has issued a new diktat asking parents of girls to marry their children to militants or face dire consequences, said a report published in the Dawn.
The Taliban are running a campaign on force-marriage of girls to Taliban militants in the Pakistan's North West Frontier Province through regular announcements made in mosques to congregations.
Some women have dared to go to the authorities for justice rather than meekly surrender to the militants' diktat.
The report also says that any girl refusing to do so would be forcibly married off.
