SIX-YR-OLD RAPED BY NEIGHBOUR
Amritsar July 19:
A six-year-old girl Barkha (name changed) was allegedly raped by her 20-year-old neighbrour Jaspal Singh at Bandala village near Amritsar.
Police have registered a case under section 376, 506 and 323 IPC at police station Jandial. Harkrishan Singh, SHO police station Jandiala informed that the victim's father Nirmal Singh along with his wife had gone out to meet some relatives leaving the young girl alone at home.
Jaspal allegedly allured the girl to accompany him to the fields where he raped her. The parents came to know about the incident late in the evening and reported the matter to police. The accused is still at large.
