Shooting at "Notorious" Movie Opening

Shooting at "Notorious" Movie Opening

There's no doubt that hip-hop fans every where have been waiting to see the new movie "Notorious" about one of the greatest hip-hop artistsof all time who was shot and killed in March 1997, but it is crazy to think that a movie opening could be turned into a dangerous place. In this day and age, it seems like there are no really safe places.
It was eerily haunting for hip-hop moviegoers in line on Friday night at a showing of the film where the star, rapper and actor Jamal "Gravy" Woolard was in attendance, when a man was shot twice in the abdomen. The man who was shot, Clive O'Conner, who is 32 was taken to a hospital almost immediately where he underwent surgery and is said to have sustained minor injuries. There were about 700 people that had to be evacuated from the Greensboro, North Carolina theater and luckily no one else was hurt. Jamal "Gravy" Woolard was living in the state when he was asked to participate in the film, but no one knows as of yet why he was in Greensboro the night of the shooting.
Hopefully there will be more info in the coming days, but the police didn't have any suspects on Friday night and refuse to say whether or not the shooting was because of the film. Although the theater is going to refund the customers who were waiting to see the film, they are indefinitely suspending the showing of the film until further notice. So we want to know what our readers think? Isn't it a little creepy that the star of the movie happened to be around when a shooting broke out? Or do people just think it was just a coincidence? Let us know, we really want to know your opinion!
