New Delhi: A man in Canada has claimed to have found a dead mouse in his coffee bought from a Fredericton, New Brunswick, McDonald’s.

57-year-old Ron Morais told CBC News that when he took the lid off of his cup to drink the last sip of coffee, “there was a little bit of a surprise in my coffee cup. It was a dead mouse.”

Adding more to his shock was some mouse poop in the cup as well.

However, Morais is not planning to sue the food giant but wants to know how the rodent landed in his coffee.

“We are continuing to investigate this isolated incident and have reached out to the customer to obtain the product sample,” McDonald’s Canada’s statement read.
