In what seems to be the patch up of the decade, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan who a day earlier ignored each other at a Bandra studio, got the guillible paparazzi into a tizzy when they hugged each other at politician Baba Siddique's iftaar party on Sunday evening.

The two actors had a fallout on July 16, 2008 at Katrina Kaif's birthday party. And in the last five years, they received maximum media mileage because they refused to acknowledge one another despite attempts by several industry people.

Sunday night was different. Salman arrived at the venue with his entourage including Boney Kapoor and Aditya Pancholi. After about half-an-hour, SRK walked in. He was seated at the table with the Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithiviraj Chavan and Mumbai Police Commissioner Satyapal Singh. Salman was seated at another table with Nitesh Rane, Ajinkya Patil, Aditya and Sooraj Pancholi.

After some time, Salman got up to greet the CM since the media was keen to get his picture with him. SRK was having a bite when Sallu tapped him and he stood up. The two of them hugged and greeted one another. Baba Siddiqui, their host for the evening immediately sprung into action and got the two actors to pose for photographs. A source said that everyone was taken by surprise at Salman's gesture and didn't anticipate this.

Later SRK went over to meet Salim Khan and spent half an hour chatting with him. He was amongst the last to leave the iftaar party.
