Revenge, lu*t, robbery: Security guard showed perfumer Monika Ghurde 3 po*n clips before rape, murder
Chilling details have come out in perfumer Monika Ghurde murder.
The accused, security guard, has confessed to his heinous crime. He not only raped and brutally murdered Ghurde, but even showed her three po*n clips before committing the crime.
The Goa police also said that the 21 year-old security guard, Rajkumar Singh, had planned the murder well in advance. It was not accidental, as we had suspected earlier, Goa Deputy Inspector General of Police Vimal Gupta said.
Revenge, lust and robbery were the main motives behind the cold blooded murder, the police said.
Security guard Rajkmar Singh went to Ghurde's house, posing as a security supervisor, and knocked on the door. When the perfumer opened it, Singh entered the flat forcibly. He then held her at knife-point and covered her mouth with his hands.
Singh later tied both her hands and legs to the bed, and it was then that he demanded money.
The police said that the perfumer told him to take all the money that was there in her purse. Singh said Rs 4,000, the amount that was present in Ghurde's purse, was not enough for him. The perfumer then asked him to take her ATM card and gave him the PIN.
But Singh did not leave.
He took her cellphone, got the password from her, and forced the perfumer top watch three po*n clips.
The DIG said he then released Ghurde's legs and raped her.
"We will add Section 376 (rape) IPC to the case," DIG Gupta said.
THE GUARD SHAVED AT THE PERFUMER'S FLAT?
Shockingly, the guard shaved at Ghurde's flat. The DIG said police had clinching evidence to support the claim.
"We have recovered hair from the spot," he said, adding that a DNA analysis would be done.
The Goa police also ruled out the involvement of any other person.
"After Singh raped Ghurde, he must have realised that she knew him very well and would complain. Hence, he suffocated her by pressing the neck and smothered her with a pillow till she died," DIG Gupta told journalists.
SECURITY GUARD WAS ANGRY WITH GHURDE
"Singh was fascinated by Ghurde since the time they first interacted," the DIG said. The police said that the guard kept a track of Ghurde's whereabouts.
The police also said that the guard used to interact with the perfumer often as Singh also used to wash Ghurde's car.
On July 22, Rajkumar Singh was removed from his job as there were many complaints against him. One of the complainant was perfumer Ghurde too.
The police said Singh linked his termination to the perfumer's complaint.
"He was angry not only with the employer but also with Ghurde," the police said.
