Haryana State Election Commissioner Dharam Vir has ordered a repoll in 30 booths of nine panchayats in Hisar, Panipat, Karnal, Rohtak and Gurgaon districts. Polling at these places was held yesterday.
The repoll has been ordered due to errors in printing of ballot papers, allotment of symbols, clashes between rival groups and snatching and destruction of ballot papers, electronic voting machines, ballot boxes and other election material.
The repoll will be held on July 10 from 7 am to 4.30 pm.
He said a repoll in two booths of two panchayats in Sirsa district, where elections were held on June 12, would also be held on July 10.
