RCMP and Prince Albert police are now treating the disappearance of a man last seen at a party in May as a homicide investigation.

Troy Napope, 23, has been missing May 27, when he went to a party on the 1400 block of 12th Street West in Prince Albert, according to an RCMP news release.

The next morning, local police got a call about a car on fire among some trees north of town. Napope had not yet been reported missing, but investigators have since determined he was driving the car, a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix, on the night he went missing.

Napope has not been located dead or alive, but the release said police believe he was the victim of foul play.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
