Shoulder high kicks, staring menacingly into the eyes of opponent country's soldier, chest thumping, boot stomping and other aggressive gestures used by soldiers of Border Security Force (BSF) and Pakistan Rangers during the synchronized theatrical drill being carried out daily at Attari ( India) and Wagah (Pakistan) land borders could go away after Pakistan Rangers have assured to tone down the shrill drill.
This is one of the understandings reached between the BSF and Pak Rangers during the biannual meeting held at Lahore recently. The other understandings include playing matches between jawan's of two forces and establishing telephonic contact at sector commandant level.
BSF director general Raman Srivastava, who had led a 19-member delegation of senior officials to Pakistan on October 26, returned on Saturday after holding discussions with their counterparts of Pakistan Rangers.
