The win against the Kochi Tuskers was a clinical performance, one in which the entire team contributed.

The spark was provided by that run-out from Rahul (Dravid) before the bowlers came to the party. Sid (Siddharth Trivedi) and Warney (Shane Warne) were incredible in the bowling department and were backed by the others as well.

What makes the performance of the two even more special is that they hadn't had a great game against Punjab. To bounce back the way they did in the Kochi encounter is showing the stuff champions are made of.

Warney is now the second-highest wicket-taker in the competition while Sid has won us a couple of games with his bowling, making it a very well-balanced attack.

With a modest total to chase, there is always that danger of being over-cautious but the way Rahul and (Shane) Watson went about their business was very professional.

We pride ourselves in the fielding department and if guys like (Ajinkya) Rahane and (Abhishek) Raut can continue to cut off 15-20 runs each game, it gives us a very good chance to win in the final analysis.

Exciting encounter

We play Mumbai Indians next and it promises to be an exciting encounter. We are playing at home, on a ground where we are accustomed to playing and that should help us.

Not that we are not aware of the task on hand; Mumbai have two of the most consistent players in the tournament in Sachin (Tendulkar) and (Lasith) Malinga and it is not without reason that they are at the top of the table. Then again, it is not only about the two of them, there have been others who have done a good job to push the side to their five wins.

That said, we know what our strengths are, and we also understand this pitch better than most. Combine that with the fact that the boys are a confident lot after our win in the previous game and we look forward trying to treat our fans with a win.

Malinga's ability to send down those yorkers has been often spoken about and that reflects in the number of wickets he has taken in the tournament so far.

That said, we try our best to help out the youngsters in the team on ways and tips to play his slinging action, with the likes of Watson and Rahul assisting them in bridging that gap between what they have experienced so far in their career and the class of the likes of Malinga.

My trip to Ranthambore with Rahul was an amazing experience. While Rahul has been on a few safaris before, this was my first one and to be able to spot the tigers on two separate occasions was fortunate. It was also a good way for me to relax and recharge.
