Chandigarh January 21:
Punjab Government would construct Rajpoot Bhawans at Jalandhar, Bathinda and Patiala in a phased manner for which state government would provide land to the Rajpoot community at collector rates.
An assurance to this effect was given by the Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal during a meeting with 15-member delegation of Rajpoot Community led by Surjit Singh Garhi and Jathedar Pritam Singh here.
Appreciating the role and efforts of Rathore-Rajpoot Community for the development of the state, Mr Badal said that Rajpoot community was the back bone of Shiromani Akali Dal and SAD-BJP government was fully committed for the welfare of this community. He further assured all cooperation and support of the state government to them.
