PUNJAB COP CAUGHT WITH 210 KG DRUGS

In what might be another jolt for the Punjab police, a Sangrur-based head constable Rachan Singh has been caught by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence from near the Radisson Hotel in Delhi with 210 kg of synthetic drugs along with his three accomplices. DRI officials, who conducted a raid at his house at Didba village at Sangrur, seized Rs 13 lakh and were astonished to see two Mitsubishi Lancers there.
The head constable is an international kabaddi player and was recruited in the police under the sports quota. He was caught by the team of the DRI department near Radisson hotel when he was carrying the synthetic drugs from Rajasthan to Delhi. The team seized 150 kg of ketamine and 60 kg of amphetamine and a permanent residency card of Canada. The team also seized Rs 13 lakh from his house.
