PASSENGER RAPED AT AMRITSAR RAILWAY STATION
Amritsar June 9:
A young married woman (26) was allegedly raped by the Railway Attendant presently attached with Frontier Express at Amritsar Railway Station.
According to the police, victim approached the police on Sunday in the morning with the complaint against two alleged accused who kidnapped her and confined in the stranded train in the railway yard on Saturday night.
Girl in her statement told the police that both the alleged accused repeatedly raped her throughout the night unless she fell unconscious. Police said that medical report of the victim has confirmed rape. Police has arrested the alleged key accused working in the Indian Railway Ashish Gupta and his accomplice Dinesh for allegedly forcefully raping the girl under Section 376 and 506 IPC.
According to the police, girl was a resident of Nagrota town of Kangra district in Himachal, has arrived Amritsar from Pathankot on Saturday night to further go to Beas.
