ONE MORE BOMB FOUND, CCTV CAPTURES TERROR CAR

Surat July 31:
Days after the serial blasts and the recovery of many as 21 live bombs from Surat, investigators on Thursday got a crucial breakthrough with the identification of an explosive factory in Andhra from where detonators were procured and also CCTV footages of one of the Surat car bombs.
Meanwhile, another live bomb has been recovered from Ankleshwar early today. The discovery of another bomb has come as another setback to the Gujarat Police that remains clueless as to how the perpetrators are able to plant bombs so easily when the state machinery is in full alertness.
However, the investigating agencies got a crucial breakthrough as a CCTV camera installed at Pune toll tax gate has captured the footage of one of cars that were stolen from Navi Mumbai and later stuffed with explosives to be abandoned in different parts of Surat. However, it is still not clear whether the CCTV footage also contains the images of the driver.
Based on the evidence collected so far, the Gujarat Police has now concluded that these terror-cars were stolen from Navi Mumbai in the second week of July and were driven to Gujarat via Pune. The image obtained by the CCTV camera has been passed on to the investigators in Mumbai and Ahmedabad for further leads. The investigating agencies in Mumbai and Ahmedabad are also probing the involvement of underworld into serial blasts.
