New Delhi, June 3 (ANI): Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today called on Union Minister of Urban Development, Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation (HUPA) and Parliamentary Affairs M. Venkaiah Naidu here today.
Senior officers including Secretary, Ministry of Urban Development and Secretary, HUPA as well as officials of Odisha Government were also present at the meeting.
Both sides reviewed the implementation of the urban development projects in Odisha especially those funded out of Central funds of the Urban Renewal Mission.
Naidu assured the Chief Minister all possible help and cooperation of his ministry in the implementation of the projects. The Minister also mentioned that any pending release of funds to the State will be expedited.
Naidu said that with respect to Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation Projects, any modification required in the schemes to give flexibility of implementation to the State will be discussed in detail.
