New Delhi: Social activist Anna Hazare on Monday said he has no plans to undertake a joint tour of the country with yoga guru Baba Ramdev to raise awareness against corruption.

The clarification comes in the wake of disapproval of the move by the core group of India Against Corruption, popularly referred to as Team Anna at its meeting on Sunday.

Hazare and Ramdev on Friday announced that they would undertake a one-day token fast together on June 3 at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi to demand early passage of the Lokpal Bill and to bring black money stashed away in foreign banks, besides saying that June onwards they would tour the entire country together until the 2014 general elections to ensure defeat of corrupt government.

Hazare clarified that he would share the stage with the yoga guru as and when needed in their nationwide campaign against corruption.

"I have told you before that we (me and Ramdev) are not touring together, but we are fighting for the same purpose of getting black money and the Lokpal and Lokayukta bills. We shall stand together and share the same stage wherever needed," Hazare said.
