A group of Nigerian hackers keeps attacking a number of the government sites, protesting against the plans that their poor country is going to waste $6.6 million for their upcoming inauguration of the president.

NaijaCyberHacktivists, the group of the hackers from Nigeria, recently announced through Twitter of their planned takedown of the National Poverty Eradication Program site. The country is well-known worldwide for its scam emails which are still rampant online. Nevertheless, there’s some method which the hackers haven’t tried yet. In short words, the formula involves sending some email to every person in a government department.

The letter, created by NaijaCyberHacktivists, requires money from the government, telling a crazy story of some Simon Williams’ life, who was asking the government to go into business relationship with him, claiming that the address was given to him from the International web site directory. The letter is a typical request for help from a prince or a person trying to receive their inheritance.

In fact, it seems that Anonymous method of DDoS attack is a much better way forward. Meanwhile, the hackers are saying that an upcoming inauguration is just an induction into office, in other words, the formal transfer of power to a person, which therefore is not a costly long-lasting festival or a number of open-ended events arranged into convoluted books and chapters.

If the government refuses to cancel the plan of spending that much money on inauguration, the hacktvists threaten to start an attack against all financial institutions and payment bodies in Nigeria in order to take out government networks, take offline government websites, and cripple the telecommunication companies.
