Former Finance Minister and MLA from Gidderbaha Manpreet Singh Badal was absent on the first day from the State Assembly.
It is learnt that Manpreet wanted to change his seat as he did not want to sit with the members of the Shiromani Akali Dal. Manpreet’s close aide Charanjeet Singh Channi said that as he was busy regarding his rally at Khatkar Kalan to be held on March 27, he could not attend the Session. “Let’s see on Monday what happens,” added Channi.
