Sangrur July 13:
A man died of grievous injuries after a scuffle with his distant cousin in Jaunpur village of Dhuri sub-division this morning.
Gurcharan singh (25) alias Satta, of Jhundha village was a frequent visitor to his uncle's house in Jaunpur. His cousin Kuldeep Singh, however, had strong objections to his visits as he felt that Gurcharan incited his father, leading to quarrels in his family. An altercation took place when Gurcharan went to Kuldeep's house.
The two then engaged in a scuffle during which Gurcharan received a fatal blow and died on the spot, police sources told reporters. Police have registered a case against Kuldeep under Section 302 IPC and search was on to nab him, sources said.
