Man booked for unnatural act with cow in MP

Madhya Pradesh police have booked a man for committing an unnatural act with a cow in Betul district, 183 kms from Bhopal.
According to Betul Police, the man, who is a tea vendor, has been booked under section 377 of IPC. According to this section, “whoever voluntarily has carnal intercourse against the order of nature with any man, woman or animal, shall be punished with imprisonment for life, or with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to ten years”.
Giving details of incident, sub-divisional officer of Police (SDOP) Betul Shanu Aaftab Ali said that the incident was reported from Sadar area of Betul on March 19. He said that the accused Shravan Vyas was a resident Sadar area.
“Some women in railway colony in Sadar area saw Vyas committing an unnatural act with a cow that was tied to a small pole (khoonti). She informed some men in the locality who reached the spot and informed us about the incident. Subsequently we arrested him and he was booked under section 377. He has been sent to jail”, he said.
Ali said the police was also conducting the medical of the cow through a veterinary doctor .
