KUALA LUMPUR: Members of the Klang Valley Sikh community, some as young as 10 years old, put their hands deep into their pockets this weekend to help the Palestinians in Gaza.
Six Sikh temples had set up collection boxes over the weekend, and yesterday Malaysia Sikh Youth Organisation president Malkith Singh and committee members Jai Nanak Singh and Jasdeep Singh came to Balai Berita to hand over the RM10,000 collected to the NSTP Fund for Gaza.

"Being charitable is part of our religion, and there is no age limit to help others. A 90-year-old woman who had just received her pension gave RM100 to the fund.
