Krazzy 4 in trouble for 'lifting tunes' |

New Delhi: With just three days to go for its release, Rakesh Roshan’s Krazzy 4 is in some legal trouble.


Ad jingle composer Ram Sampath has moved Bombay High Court alleging his tunes have been copied in the film. The film is due for release on April 11, and its music album is out.


But Ram Sampath, who has composed some 3,000 advertising jingles, has sought to restrain Roshan from using his tracks in the movies, and asked for damages worth Rs 2 crore.


Justice DG Karnik will hear the matter tomorrow, but before that he will be listening to the music in his chamber this evening.


Krazzy 4's music is composed by Rakesh Roshan's brother Rajesh Roshan. According to Sampath, four tracks from the film are a "direct lift" from his tunes for the advertisement for Sony Ericsson cell-phones last year.





Interestingly, both the advertisement as well as one of the allegedly `lifted' songs in the movie feature Bollywood heart-throb Hrithik Roshan, Rakesh Roshan's son.


The film stars Rajpal Yadav, Irfan Khan and Arshad Warsi.

Bakwas!!! Music released in February and Ram is complaining 2 days before the movie's release! That's stupid! He got 2 crores for free! If he had complained in February, Rajesh Roshan could've changed the music. Ohdeen muft paisa layn da shounk a!!!
