Kho-kho coach Shashi Sharma, who has been transferred with immediate effect, denied the charges and said he had a long, untainted service in the school of 17 years.

Officials said a girl student from Andhra Pradesh had also complained that the sports coach "misbehaved" with her when she had come with her school team to take part in a tournament in the city last month.

Deputy Commissioner Ajit Singh Pannu said the state government has ordered the inquiry and would be constituting a committee for the purpose would be constituted shortly.
