The Bandra police have registered a case against former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli and his wife Andrea after a maid employed by the couple accused them of assaulting her.
In her complaint, the maid Soni Sarsal (30) alleged that she had been working at the Kambli household for the past two years.The maid claimed the couple were irregular in paying her dues and would often shout at her.
The maid alleged when she asked for her wages, she was confined to a room by the couple and was not allowed to return home.
The woman said in her complaint she was confined to the Kambli household for three days. She said she was beaten up by the couple in the past also.
